Demo model of TouchDAW, a full-featured DAW controller with some common objective MIDI tools. Lets you distant management popular DAW software as recognized from standard hardware management surfaces.

This is a MIDI controller! The app doesn't itself play or document audio!

Supports Cubase / Nuendo, Live, Logic, Pro Tools, Sonar, FL Studio, REAPER, Reason, Studio One, Samplitude, SAWStudio Digital Performer (7.2 ), Vegas / Acid, Tracktion, Bitwig, Ardour Mixbus workstations. Standard performance like mixer and transport operation shall be accessible in other applications with fundamental management surface assist as well. As of model 1.1 the app can even send MIDI Machine Control (MMC) in parallel with or alternatively to plain DAW control.

Besides management floor emulation, the app brings a number of general function MIDI controllers, similar to a multitouch MIDI keyboard, multitouch launchpads, a MIDI mixer, configureable xy-controller pads and the likelihood to hyperlink a telephone's sensors to MIDI controllers.

TouchDAW works with RTP or multicast MIDI over WiFi and is directly suitable with Apple's Network MIDI implementation in Mac OS X, Tobias Erichsen's rtpMIDI driver for Windows and ipMIDI (resp. multimidicast or qmidinet on Linux). There is not any computer facet server or protocol conversion software other than the driver required.

Class compliant MIDI interfaces are supported on units with Usb host mode. Direct system to PC Usb connectivity is on the market both by way of the Android 6 MIDI Api in addition to over tethered USB connections or ADB. A free driver, available from our web site, is required for a few of the proprietary solutions.

The apk contains each pill and telephone versions. Most recent phones will let you alternatively use the tablet layout.
