Midi Order

Midi Commander allows you to send MIDI message via a usb-linked MIDI interface.

Define the MIDI messages (control change, program change) related to each button, and use them to alter patches and control a midi keyboard or related midi tools.

After setting the EDIT change to ON, use lengthy click on a button to vary its values and the transmitted values. Other capabilities can be accessed through menu'.

IMPORTANT NOTE: the Android gadget MUST BE CAPABLE of appearing as USB-HOST. So, please, do not price the app with a low rating if the linked midi system just isn't recognized: it might be that your android system does not work in USB-HOST mode.

Also, the MIDI system should be class-compliant (that's, no driver should be required to use its USB-MIDI functionality).

Known issues:

- If the related MIDI device is accurately recognized (its title is accurately displayed on top of the window of Midi Commander), however the midi instructions are not executed by the Midi gadget, attempt with a unique ID cable quantity within the Global Settings (thus far, we experienced this only with a Korg Microkorg XL keyboard). We plan to have the proper ID cable routinely set.

- We skilled points with Clavia Nord Keyboards: generally the midi commands are not executed by the keyboard.
