Opal Travel

Opal Travel is the official app for managing your travel throughout the public transport community in Sydney (Australia), and surrounding areas. Use the app to plan journeys, top up your Opal balance, view trip and transaction historical past, and access different useful data all on your Android device. Opal Travel can be used with both registered and unregistered Opal playing cards.
With this app you can:
- Plan trips and see fare estimates
- View and high up your Opal stability on the go
- Register your Opal card or credit/debit card you utilize to catch public transport
- View travel history and transactions for each Opal and credit/debit card tap ons
- Set up automated stability high ups
- Report an Opal card as misplaced or stolen and transfer the steadiness to a different Opal card
- Get location-based alerts when approaching your stop
- Get notifications about delays and disruptions specific to your trip
- Check weekly journey rewards
- Scan your Opal card with your device to verify faucet on status, account stability and weekly travel rewards (compatible NFC-enabled Android devices only)
- See Opal retailer areas on a map

Opal card scanning could not work on all gadgets.
Designed to be used with Adult, Child/Youth, Concession and Senior/Pensioner Opal playing cards, and American Express, MasterCard and Visa only.
Not appropriate with rooted (jailbroken) Android gadgets.
