From Ibn Umar r.a. said, the words of the Messenger of Allah s.a.w, "Indeed this heart is rusty like the rust of iron when exposed to water, a friend asked," how to remove the rust '? The Prophet s.a.w. replied,

They replied: "By God, we do not gather here except for that purpose alone." He also said: “Actually I did not ask you to swear because I still doubt your truth, but Jibril a.s. has come to me and told me, that Allah Ta’ala praises you before the Angels. ”
In another narration issued by al-Hakim, that Rasulullah s.a.w. found a group of people reciting dhikr to Allah Ta'ala, then he said: "What are you talking about, I see the mercy of Allah is raining on you, and I also want to join you all."
Once upon a time a companion of Rasulullah saw, Ibn Masud was visited by a man whose face was depressed (sad). Then the man said: O Ibn Mas'ud, give me an advice that I can use as a cure for my restless heart. Lately, my feelings are not so calm, my soul is always restless, my mind is also always confused. I do not feel like eating, I do not sleep well.
Hearing that, Ibn Mas'ud continued to say: If that is the disease that befell your soul, then you should take your heart to visit three places, namely, where people read the same Quran either you read it or you hear it. Secondly, a study ceremony that reminds your heart of Allah and thirdly, find a suitable place and time so that you can worship Allah SWT with sincerity and sincerity.
In fact, everything turns on our hearts. That is why we need to pray a lot so that our hearts are always close to Allah SWT. Only with prayer can we be devout and try to practice this prayer which is understandable: O Allah my Lord, verily I seek refuge with You from a heart that is not devout, and prayer that is not heard, and from unsatisfied lust and knowledge that is not useful. I seek refuge with You from those four things.
In addition to the reward and mercy of Allah that we get from reading the Qur'an and remembrance of Allah Ta'ala, we will also increase religious knowledge, strengthen faith, forge serenity, removing from the heart all things that trouble him. This is efficacious for people who are accustomed to reciting the Qur’an and reciting dhikr to Allah Ta’ala, because the Qur’an and zikrullah are spells and cures for all heart diseases and restlessness of the soul and mind.
